Greencrop Forage & Contracting was founded in early 2014 by Dominic Search.
After extensive research and practical training/experience, I decided that the time was right to re-enter the Agricultural industry providing a professional and most importantly a RELIABLE service to Arable farmers and the equine industry. Our office is based at my home in Hockley, Essex, with our yard based near to Hullbridge, Essex. We have recently moved to this newer massive facility due to the expansion of our business activities. During 2019 the business became incorporated, having taken on another 111 acres of Grassland.
Although we initially started the business as agricultural contractors, quite Early on it was evident that Forage sales would make up the bulk of our business. We quickly built a very good reputation for supplying high-quality hay, straw and Haylage. We supply a few competition yards, livery yards and many individuals with Forage for there beloved horses and ponies.
As our Forage business has grown, we have tried to offer more products to our clients, adding a small range of bedding to our delivered only service.
